Anyone have or can tell me which cookcook has a good brussel sprout recipe? Maybe with a good sauce or glaze?

TIA

I just cut them in half if they are large, sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss them with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Then I roast them at 400 degrees on a foil-lined baking sheet till they are done. The smell is soooo good, and I could eat them like candy!

Yum! I use a honey mustard glaze, or you can use garlic and soy sauce.

Not trying to start up here, but I love brussels sprouts and haven't eaten them in years. My research has told me that all the major kashrus organizations say they can't be checked and not to eat them. Please tell me how you are all eating them? I really want to know....

We use the frozen ones with certification.
I believe the company that sells them is Bodek.

Yes, I have seen them and bought them once or twice (the price is exorbitant, for a tiny bag). I assumed the posters here were talking about fresh ones...

And I'm from a world where everything can be checked BH, if you have a mesora or ask someone reliably knowledgeable to teach you. Let's not bash other shittot. Even if we don't like brussels sprouts Wink

Who bashed? As I posted in the other thread someone started, the major American kashrus organizations say they can't be checked/eaten. If I don't accuse you of bashing them, please don't accuse me of bashing anyone here!

I certainly don't bash them.
But there is a certain bias on these threads, people paskening for all.

I would be the first to say "don't eat" to someone told not to eat. But I'm not sure the courtesy would be the same the other way. Unfortunately, BTDT on this site... Not everyone is major American or something. Personally I don't know the organizations, it doesn't speak to me. A quick googling gave me rabbis saying it may be difficult/long (meaning, not impossible if you want) if they are contaminated and that it depends by country. I follow my dh's charedi rav in how to clean, about veggies I do like. 70 panim le Torah and I'll leave it at that. Very Happy
