I finally, finally got to touch and try a blond Shevy... and I was really disappointed in the price/quality thing. Sure, it's NICE, but not worth its price, to me.
Was I just lucky with the couple of wigs I like? or can you advise another brand with superior quality?

Likely have to add hi lights though. Shevy blondes are dyed, sadly.

Thats right. Youve gotta find one thats not dyed, thats the challenge. If you can get a rooted non dyed blond wig then your in heaven. This is the only company ive ever come accross that I know for sure sells non dyed or virgin hair wigs www.flhairsystems.com and I know a seller on ebay who is supplied by them. They will send you a picture of the actual hair they will use and they can sew in lighter blond hair when they are making it in order to do highlights. Theyre expensive though, but AFAIK they are the best you can get. I have one thats about a year old (not custom made for me) and Im leaning towards buying another wavy one thats listed right now.

I think you can also get non dyed wigs in Israel. BK wigs makes them too I think (maybe). I think Miri can also do it for you if go to the store and choose hair with her.

I heard Clary doesnt dye blonde and falls in the same price range as Shevy.

I have a friend that got a blond renaissance and she said that all the h/l are made with diff colored hairs! no dye at all... and they are rooted.

I was told by a very reliable person that unless you are being charged a premium meaning a price much higher than a brunette with all other things being equal , you are getting dyed blonde hair. This is even if they tell you it is not . Virgin blonde hair is very expensive and there is a limited market.

I got a virgin European one from sari in new Milford, nj. It wasn't dyed, but I had her lowlight the roots to match the little bit I keep out in front and you cab't tell I'm wearing anything. It's 22 inches.
