My dh and I were discussing it. I don't know if I have enough patience for it all week though. Maybe if there were a "round robin" sort of thing where I taught 1 or 2 days a week.

That's as far as I've planned, which wasn't much.

What kind of schedule do you have during the day? Just curious...

My kids are 5 and 3, so we usually only spend a couple of hours on lessons, and then we go somewhere.

HI! So I am the person behind the homeschool blog mommyima mentioned. Thank you for sharing my blog: http://jewishhomeschoolnyc.blogspot.com/. We are homeschooling our 3.5 and almost 2 year old girls. We are having tons of fun creating different parsha projects and craft ideas and constantly learning from our surroundings. As for the person above who mentioned having enough patience, I'll tell you that it is a daily struggle for me, but I really see it as my nisayon (test). Being with my little children for so many hours gives me many opportunities to work on myself. As for get togethers with other homeschoolers-we do that 3 days a week and its a fun and supportive network of mothers. For anyone who is considering homeschooling, I would love to tell you more about our experience, you can message me here or at speech12@gmail.com

Also, I know that since my girls are so young, it really isn't technically homeschooling. Just to clarify I call it homeschooling for lack of a better term and because here in Brooklyn, most of the people I know do send their kids to "school" at 2 if not younger. So this is "mommy school" in contrast to playgroup.Does that make sense? There is no rigid curriculum or seat work or anything like that. Tons of playing, books, crafts, science experiments, etc
