So, especially for those in the UK, any special themed shabbat plan?
The Chief Rabbi has written a special prayer
http://www.chiefrabbi.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Chief-Rabbi-Prayer-for-Diamond-Jubilee.pdf
and there's the Hebrew version of G-d Save the Queen.
We're hosting a kiddush with Pimm's, cupcakes with blue/red/white icings, miniature scones (w/parve cream and strawberry jam), miniature sausage rolls, (the kiddush committee is still debating miniature fish and chips).
Our lunch menu would definitely include bubblies, coronation chicken, mini jersey potatoes, parve eton mess for dessert.
I dunno if there're anything that's worth watching on TV--may watch BBC on computer if they're going to broadcast the flotilla on Sunday or the procession on Tuesday.

hey Im TOTALLY gonna be patriotic!
Blue, red and white decorations which should not be too hard to find in this country but just not with the stars and stripes!
Bangers and mash sounds like a good idea and apple crumble (for me because dh will not eat anything that is "too english!") _________________
