I have the following ingredients:

whipped cream cheese
butter
pudding mix
yogurt
soy milk

and regular baking ingredients.

Can I make a cheesecake out of that?
I can't buy anything else, nothing is available here.

Also, I want to make a no bake crust. I know you can do that with graham crackers or wafers, but I don't have either of those.
Can I make a crust with crushed crackers, sugar, and butter or oil?

Thank you!

I believe you can. Or you can make it crustless.

Make a shortbread crust with butter (margarine if you don't have a milchik oven), flour and sugar.

(ok, that involved baking... bake the crust and set aside and then add the cheesecake stuff later)

Something like this...

http://www.dairygoodness.ca/recipes/ultimate-vanilla-cheesecake-with-shortbread-crust

Crust:
1/2 cup (125 ml) butter, softened
1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose flour

In a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter with sugar until fluffy. Stir in flour until crumbly. Press firmly into a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan. Refrigerate for 10 min.

Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C). Bake crust for about 15 min or until golden and firm.

I bet it would still be tasty unbaked... more like cookie-dough than pie crust.

Maybe you could 'bake' it in a pan on top of your plata? If you're using an aluminium pan, a plata will get it pretty hot.

This what I do for my pumpkin pie: crush 10-12 graham cracker cookies, add melted (5-6 tbsp) butter and press into the form/pan. Put away in the fridge for at least an hour. I usually bake it with filling afterward, but I am assuming that since it has no raw ingredients, like eggs, you can just use it as is and fill with cream cheese filling.

ok, I think I got the crust. I am going to use ewa-jo's recipe, and either bake it double wrapped, or leave it raw. It's really only for me and my 4 yr old (the guys around here don't eat milchig ) and we like raw cookie dough! Smile

Now, how do I do the filling?

thanks for all your help.

I made ewa-jo's recipe for the crust. I sem-baked it double wrapped and it was super delicious
(btw, after the talk of cookie dough, I saw this cookbook. looks yummy Smile
http://www.amazon.com/The-Cook.....amp;sr=8-1 )

For my filling, I mixed my cream cheese, a yogurt (strawberry flavored b/c that's what I found), some butter (afterwards I realized that was probably unnecessary), sugar and gelatin. It was ok, but the texture was a bit odd. Kind of like the texture of toffuti cream cheese.

I topped it with strawberries, and the end result was pretty good.

Thank you for all you help Smile
