3rd seat for City Mini double?

I recently saw someone walking with a double City Mini with a third seat perched on top between the two seats. From the distance, I could not tell if it was a car seat or a toddler seat.

I'm due soon with my third iy"H and my oldest will be almost three, but he love his stroller and I'm not sure how he'll take to walking everywhere. A third seat (for either him or the baby) would be great. I'm not sure if this was a hack or a legitimate third seat - any ideas?

hack. Baby jogger made a seat for the single city/city elite. my neigbor hacked it for the double elite but I don't think you want to wheel a double city mini with a third rider. if you really want a carriage for 3 get a valco trimode with an extra seat, that one is legitimate

I was just going to suggest the Valco trimode. I love mine! It's a very nice and sturdy seat. Just for fun, here's a picture.

AFAIK, the third seat fits into City Elite, but not City Mini.
