NEED HELP! Buying a sheitel in Crown Heights Yaffa? Freeda?

I have been looking in to getting a new sheitel. I live oot and have been waiting to get to New York to get one. I have a last minute trip tommorow will only be their for a day. I was looking into Freeda originaly but really don't want to spend that sort of money on a sheitel at the moemnt if I can help it. Another more reasonable option I see is Yaffa Precut Wigs does any one have any experience with them what are they like? quality? do they last a long time etc. Also if anyone knows any other quality options I will be in Crown Heights don't realy have time to shop around although we may pop into Boro Park so if their is anything really worth it their we may be able to schedule that in. TIA

Yaffa is not great quality. I got mine by Chana Kurinsky ( shes not here any more though Sad

) and its still soft as silk and beautiful after 5 years. My next choice would be Shuly wigs. Better quality. Just make sure they add hair. They tend to be a bit thin....

I have hada yaffa for 4 years, that only now I cant wear it. for the price I paid I think it was great value!

Thanks for the replies so far. I now see the freeda short ones are on sale bringing it to abut the same price as a regular priced Yaffa so I'm thinking of going for the Freeda. Any more opinions welcomed!

Freeda is much better quality. You can also look at Freeda discontinued styles. (I think they only sell over the web, but not sure) I got a beautiful, long band fall, for under $400 (!!!!), originally over $1,000. It's MUCH better quality than any Yaffa I've seen.

Idk what price range your thinking of spending but the galit Italia line has stunning quality wigs very reasonable prices and they are based in crown heights. 718-778-7770

my two cents:

I have a yaffa fall (first wig I bought) which will turn 5 years come this October, and the fall is still WONDERFUL!!!, I still get compliments on it.
