Has anyone here, from US or Canada, ever ordered from Marks and Spencers online? Were you charged duties? If yes, how much?
I really want to place an order but concerned how much it will cost me in duties.

You should check it out before you order. I don't live in the US or Canada, but I really got socked with customs duties.

[Vent: I am VERY FURIOUS at M&S, because even though I carefully figured out my order so that the sum total would be less than the minimum for customs duties, M&S printed the full price for every item, instead of the 30% or 50% reduced price that I actually paid, plus they wrote that I paid more for shipping than I really did, and that put me over the top, so I had to pay as much in duty as the order cost me.

Which is why I have no plans to order anything from M&S by mail ever again.]

Thanks for letting me know Sarahd, that's just what I was afraid of and why I didn't put in an order..I'll wait until someone here goes to London (only after the Olympics I'm afraid) and then ask them to bring me my bras and pants...

Just what I was afraid of. They actually have nice dress pants. I have such a hard time finding things I like for my boys.

If I ship my order to a relative in England will I still have to worry about this?
