Dunno if this is the kind you're looking for, but strawberry rhubarb compote is pretty easy to make.

1lb rhubarb (about 5-6 stalks), washed, trim top and bottom
180g caster sugar
100g water
1/2 tbsp lemon juice (optional, depends on how tart rhubarbs are
1lb strawberries, topped, quartered

Cut rhubarb into 3cm chunks, mix with sugar in a non-metalic pot with a lid, leave for 20minutes.
Add water, cook over a low flame for about 15-20minutes till rhubarbs are soft but not mushy.
Add strawberries and continue to cook for another 8-10min. Taste and add lemon juice if needed.

I know some people add vanilla or cinnamon but I like mine simple way.
You can also freeze this one--makes a nice base for crumble, topping for cheesecake, or great simply
served with yogurt or cereal.

Mrs. Bissli, thanks for responding!

Last night I decided to just try to make the Bodek strawberry rhubarb without an actual recipe. Here's what I did:

Poured the package into a pot. Added boiling water just enough to barely cover it. Poured sugar in (a lot!) Cooked on high flame until bubbling and then low flame for about a half hour. Refrigerated.
Today, put it into the food processor and blended it for a few seconds. Result: A delicious smoothie Smile
The leftovers are in a pitcher in the refrigerator to be enjoyed later.
