| my dd is 7yrs if u tell her to spell a word she can/ but when u ask her to read she has no clue? is this a known problem?did anyone ever see this? what can I do for it?should I get her evaluated? by who?please help

| sounds like a visual processing issue. I would get her evaluated. Could be a dislexic thing but most dislexics cant spell by heart either.

OP, is she just memorizing the spelling? or can she write out the word she's spelling?
Had she been having problems up till now? What are her teachers saying?

| she can write what she spelling so far shes been getting 100 on her spelling test! her teacher thinks its funny too she never heard of this yet?
