I like to make salmon for dinner but I find it isn't very filling. DH is hungry a couple of hours later.
what can I make as a side dish that will be filling???? not soup (as were heading into the hot summer months)...

please share ideas ASAP cuz fish is on my menu tonight so I need an idea right away.

thanks ladies!

Use brown rice, whole grain pasta, or potatoes with their skins - whole foods will do more than white/processed ones. Add butter or milk and sauteed onions to mashed potatoes; stir-fry rice with vegetables and egg; make a pasta salad instead of serving it plain. Yukon gold or red skinned potatoes have the best-tasting skin, IMO. You could also do baked potatoes with cheese sauce and broccoli; broccoli is a filling vegetable.
