don't know y I can't find 5% on citi- maybe they don't have it for new customers anymore

We also have Citi Dividends. It used to be 1% on everything, and 5% on on gas, groceries, drugstores. It changed in October to 1% on e/t and 2% on gas, groceries, drugstores, but they also added utilities (gas, electric, cable) to the 2%.
I'm not sure what the yearly limit is.
Discover also has a cash back plan, but they're not accepted everywhere. If 10,000 dollars is a $100 gift card, that's 1%. Why not get the cash and spend it as you want?

 I think the only 5% cash back card that still exists now is the "Direct Rewards" Mastercard (HSBC) that gives you 5% back on supermarket, gas and pharmacy purchases. There used to be a 5% cash back card from Citi, but now it was reduced to 2%. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
