Cheesecake factory ad on Imamother?

Huh?

We used to eat there all the time when I was a kid (and didn't keep kosher). It's delicious, and very treif, afaIk.

Anyone know any different? Planning on getting one of their gorgeous cakes for Shavous?

Is it a google ad because I don't have it on my computer?

FYI, some of the ads you see are not imamother ads - they're generated by your "surfing" history. Been googling cheesecake recipes for Shavuos lately? Wink

Oh, gee...Sorry, I didn't mean to stir up trouble.
I could report it, but I wasn't bothered by the ad. I thought there actually was a chance that their factory cheesecakes were kosher, but their restaurants weren't. In which case, maybe I'd order one! Besides which, it was kind of funny--just in time for Shavous, an ad for not kosher cheesecake.

I don't imagine it was generated by my browsing history. I don't know anything about cheesecake, nor do I plan to. Other than that it's delicious, of course.

mmm. cheesecake factory. I used to eat there when I ate out. I am a perfect example of the jew who did not turn away from trayf because it disgusts them. it was hard because cheesecake factory is delish. that said, I have a recipe that tastes just like their basic cheesecake and which is truly the best one ever. and no, I am not sharing it.

occasionally, I am aware that I am on a different page than people who never tried trayf, even though we both don't eat it. oh, and the cashew crusted chicken....droooool

yup, I CHOSE to stop eating trayf, and I am proud. and there are people who lie about it (like someone I know) because they are ashamed. I am proud that I chose to stop. and I am proud that it is hard, and I do it anyways. it has changed my life.

since I apparently offended someone by saying I will not share recipes, let me be clear that I am a kosher caterer. I do share recipes that I do not sell. cheesecake, I sell.

There's ads sometimes with not totally modest clothing too.

If you don't plan on eating there or shopping there, what matter? It's not like it's a porn ad.
