I am due to give birth soon and would like to hear how you have stocked up your freezer before giving birth?
I'm looking for recipes that are obviously good and that are easy to prepare.
TIA!

Anything meaty is usually easy so:
meatballs, shnitzels, grilled cutlets, sheperds pie, roast chiken, deep fried shnitzel
soups are also easy and good
lasagne, quiche, pizza, pitta breads, falafel balls, cheese blintzes
things like instant couscous (the tiny ones) and pasta and fruit and veg are good to have in the fridge nearer the time because they are easy side dishes (salad etc). _________________

meat sauce, just chopped meat in jarred tomato sauce. This freezes well and improves with age! Just boil noodles when its time to heat up.
Chicken soup with boullion. The more salt the better. The taste will last.
Chicken fajitas: Fahita bread with chopped chicken cutlets, yellow rice and mild salsa. Again the salty salsa retains the flavor. Just wrap in foil and heat in oven wrapped for 30-45 minutes.
Pita Pizzas: Pita bread sauce and mozzerala , freezes great.
Beef Chil.: ground beef, vegetarian baked beens, salsa. heat up and serve with rice.
I find that baked or broiled chicken does not freeze to my liking.

Certain things come down to personal preference. For example, my oldest only really eats homemade bread. So, my freezer was stocked up with pre-sliced bread. DH, the babysitter, my parents could take a slice, stick it in the toaster, coat with cream cheese or pb and she was good to go.
Soups: french onion, potato leek, potato, pumpkin, and chicken soup all freeze well. I personally find that blended soups freeze better than soups with chunky veggies.
Meats: cabbage rolls, meatballs, taco sauce beef, roasts for shabbos
Kugels: potato, carrot, pineapple, brocoli and veggie kugel all freeze well
Dairy: Lasagna, baked ziti

Challah, kugels, meatloafs, casseroles all freeze amazing.
But anything with cream or fruit I would NOT freeze.

Whatever I made for supper I always doubled.
Meatballs
Breaded chicken
Chicken 1/4s in sauce
Lasagna
Eggplant parm (baked not fried)
Side dishes:
Orzo
Carrot kugel
Potato Kugel (before a baby on a motzei shabbos and with dh's help make like 30 lbs of potato kugel and bake in 8x8 pans. It gives me like 3 months of breathing time until I have to think about it again)

How do you reheat the potato kugel?
