So I recently figured out the easiest, fastest almost fun and best results way of cleaning the floors!
I fill up water and cleaning detergent all over the floors and then wipe it down with a towel. It is so much less annoying then using a mop and produces amazing results. AM I missing something? Why doesn't anyone else I know clean like this??

I like to do this wet mopping too. It does have great results. If you are on a floor that has no tiles that are glued down you can clean like this forever.
We have to be careful in our building because the water eventually gets under the tlles and lossenes them needing repair.
But hot, hot water and cleaner is wonderful.
Enjoy! _________________ Getting Ready!

| Do you have to get down on your knees to do that?

| You don't have to get down on your knees. You just pour water and then wipe with your feet. Wear crocs and use a small or big towel depending how big your floor is.

I wish!!! I think sponja is actually much healthier for the back, don't have to go back and forth with the mop and then wring it out...
clearly american houses weren't built with Israeli engineers.

| I also long for sponja. I think when I build my dream home I will include sponja holes. When I had the kind of floor that could handle it, I cleaned something like this, but my current apartment flooring wouldn't be able to cope with a flood of water, I can only damp-mop and scrub spots.

you dont need a sponja hole
if you have a shovel with a long handle- so you dont have to bend down- you can scoop the water with that into a bowl and then pour it all out,

I grew up in brooklyn with an israeli mom I never knew what a real mop was. we made sponga but without a drain. We had deck brush wooden one that comes with a stick looks like broom but much more rough or u can use squeezie also with stick. There are special towels made for sponga especially sold in isreal now here also. you can use any towel and have a pail wash floor and empty and squeeze towel in bucket. You can spill water wherever u want when u r done e.
How's that for sponga recipe??

My amazing discovery is that I don't use a pail.
I fill a spritz bottle with diluted floor cleaner, spritz the floor, and wipe it with the mop. _________________ "Don't turn your back. Don't look around. And don't blink. Good luck." -The Doctor

I do that to but don't publicize it I feel like its cheating. I usually make a solution of whatever floor cleaner I have with water pour all around and then mop. I guess it depends on how big the floors are.

Don't know where you live but I never splashed water on anyone while doing sponja, and I never got water on me from ppls sponja water. It is a more messy way of washing youre floor, cuz you have to slash water all over.
