What would you put on/ not put on if you were going to exercise (and then go somewhere) so that your makeup won't look horrible? _________________ אין עוד מלבדו

| I would put most of my makeup on after exercise. Mascara could be put on before. Maybe long-lasting lipstick, too. Foundation and blush I would leave for after the exercise.

| My eye make up always runs. If I had to be somewhere after I exercised, I would put it on at that point instead.

| My eyes tear really easily, so I always use waterproof eye makeup--it even stays presentable when I go swimming, and comes off easily with Neutrogena waterproof makeup remover.

| I do not wear any makeup when I exercise. (okay, sometimes even when I don't exercise.) it is bad for your skin to be wearing makeup when your exercising, and eye makeup just runs. if I need to be somewhere directly afterwards (and this is often) I put on makeup afterwards, and since you have a natural rosy glow from your workout, you need minimal makeup at that point (I usually wash my face, put on moisturizer, pressed powder, eye shadow, mascara and lip gloss.)

I don't have any source to quote, but I have read it (maybe glamour magazine? or allure? or an online article?...) but anyway it also makes sense to me, because when you sweat, if there is makeup on as well, it will clog your pores. and when eye makeup runs, mixed with sweat, it is bad for your delicate skin around your eyes. you are free to ignore this advice, but that is my take on it.

| if ur mascara n liner is on for a while it shouldn't run and I do long last lipstick. foundation, blush, eye shadow etc go on after. and I can easily wash my face after working out without worrying of ruining anything.

I would just put on waterproof mascara and lipstick. When you do exercize and your face may sweat the foundation may melt. _________________ Sunday social program forming in Brooklyn for children with social delays. Pm me for more info

Black sheep, I was just curious where you heard it. No biggie. I too believe that going overboard with make up while working out is likely not good though a light natural look - I don't know, I can't see the harm in that. Just my opinion.

Because you sweat while exercising, makeup will have a tendency to clog your pores. See, eg, http://fitnessandskincare.blogspot.com/2010/11/why-wearing-make-up-during-exercise-is.html
I shower and put on makeup after I exercise.

| I use waterproof eyeliner, mascara, and long lasting lipstick. No base. If I wasn't allergic, I'd use moisterizer-that can even out skin tone nicely. My best and more reliable brand is Revlon colorstay for the lips and eyes, almay for the mascara. I sweat profusely when I work out, and it stays fresh the whole time. It doesn't even come off on the white towel that they give for Spinning class! (Not very easy to take off though!) I love wearing makeup when I work out at the gym, it makes me feel more confident about how I look.

This.
Isk! I can't imagine wearing make-up when I exercise. (I don't wear much of it even when I don't exercise...)
Plus, don't you want to shower afterwards???
