Dd age 7 says I hate her

DD age 7, was smacking, and punching me, angry, and saying I hate her. What happened was that I always pick her up from the bus stop, which is on my corner, but a 7 minute walk. I'd say about 5 times this year she needed to walk, but I almost always pick her up. (all my other neighbors let their kids walk, I just feel safer picking her up.) today my babysitter, who usually comes right before the bus comes, was late so I had to stay home with the other kids, and couldn't leave. Dd walked home and came home angry, saying I hate her since I never pick her up. She was also mad since I bought another kid new underwear, and not her. (other kid has frequent accidents and needs replacements more often, she has more than enough.) then she got angry again when I prepared her shabbos clothing and I put out the "wrong" shell and wrong headband.

She seems to be full of anger, and I don't know why. She has every toy you can imagine, we do fun things together like gardening, crafts, baking, etc. She also has responsibilities, since she's the oldest. She needs to put her clothing in the laundry, help play with the baby when I clean up after supper, things like that. How do I deal with this anger? dh and I thought that perhaps next week I shouldn't pick her up every day, like all the other kids, so she'll appreciate it when I do. Is that too harsh? Also should I maybe take her to see a professional, determine what's making her so angry?

You need to fgure out why she has such a deep resentment toward you and adjust your parenting of her. It might be as simple as finding ways to make her feel special to you.
