| Yes! I ussualy feel bad for my kids, I know they should see me in either a slinky skirt/ top, or robe, but I'm just so much more comfortable in my own skin wearing a nighty

No! I put on pj's when it's bedtime.
I have a friend who wears pj's all the time, except when she goes out! Every time we want to go somewhere she sighs and says "oh I have to get dressed cuz I'm in pj's!". She literally changes a few times a day from pj's to clothing for whenever she has to go out of the house, and I think it's nutty, but she's comfy!

I am (like) that friend. I don't wear a nightgown, but I put on my pajamas and change out of them to drop off my kids, pick them up, take them out, go shopping, etc. Sometimes I'm good about making sure I have a house dress to throw on or a robe but then I always revert back to pajamas because I like material on my legs and I don't like wearing tights in the house because I'm always snagging them on something. As for why I change back and forth all day there are always different reasons. Maybe I've gained weight and my clothes are a little tight, maybe my baby is in that super messy eating phase or has a runny nose and I can't keep it off me, maybe I'm cooking and an apron never protects my clothes, and the way I putter around the house going from the floor to step stools just doesn't keep my clothes looking nice. The truth is though I remember doing this as far back as high school. _________________ I can't spell or proofread. Consider yourself warned.

I am like your friend too! Well, I don't call them pjs, I call them "home clothes," but I sleep in the t-shirt.
I was talking to a gypsy friend of mine and she said no gypsy woman would ever do that. They have a specific dress that designated for the home. They change out of their "outdoor dress" into their "home dress" when they come home. I said that a lot of Jewish women also make sure to look nice at home. _________________ We must love one another or die.

You and my friend are all so funny! I go in and out of the house at least 5 times a day. I'd be doing nothing but getting dressed all day, if I had to keep changing from my home clothes to outdoor clothes!

| I right away change to comfies, leggings n tees or slinky skirts. I don't wanna ruin my street clothes. But wearing pj's or nighties makes me sleepy and I end up lazying around more than having to do my chores.

the second I walk through the door! my work clothes are either scrubs or business attire ie button-down blouse, a line skirt, stockings). scrubs you want to change out of b/c they are gross, and I certainly cant prepare dinner or sit down comfortably with my kids on the floor in a tight skirt and stalkings!
heres my daily routine! straight upstairs, clothes off, wig off, lenses out, quick shower, then right into tank top / sweatshirt (depending on season), leggings, and yummy socks. I usually wear one of those israeli mitpachat things around the house, not b/c Im particularly makpid on covering my hair at home (I'm not, at all), but because it keeps my hair out of my face during whatever I'm doing...cooking, reading, watching tv, playdough statues. so I come home, and I am ready for bed whenever my bed calls haha!!
if I go out- like down the block to the grocery or the park, I put one of those short slinky skirts on over the leggings, switch out the socks for sandals/uggs (again-totally depending on season), and voila, Im dressed lol.

I work in the home and people come to my home and children who are not mine live in my home, so no lounging in pjs for me. I stay in my robe-that-is-my-pjs until after my first cup of coffee, but then I get dressed and stay that way until I'm falling into bed, and somewhere in mid air I manage to get outta the clothes and into the thin cotton robe.
The slinkiest I can ever be is to just not cover my hair. Would you wear those same clothes if someone was visiting you?

I change out of shaitel and work clothes into comfy clothes but I shower and put on pajamas before bed. I don't want to get into bed wearing whatever I had on at dinner time and sitting on the floor playing with my kids, idea of that seems a little icky to me

That's what my MIL does. It is so annoying. If I need to go out, I just get up and go. In fact, I put on my "outside" clothes first thing in the morning so I am always ready to go. With her, you need to give her 20 min notice and say "We are REALLY going out now". So she could change out of home clothes into outside clothes, comb her hair, put on lipstick, and then it will take her forever to find her glasses...

Sometimes. When the kids are sick and I might just pop in a taxi and go to the hospital any minute...

I love getting into comfy clothes at home although its not always pajamas. It keeps my street clothes in good condition and smelling good when I may be cooking or frying or cleaning. _________________ Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they're gone.
