How do I get out bad smell?

my indian tenents moved out almost 4 months ago the apartment still strongly has that smell tried airing it out anybody have something that works?

probably not.

I know that when I write leases for food restaurants, it exludes tenants that use curry like that. because the smell is so powerful.

My company used to have a policy on office microwave: no curries and food with strong smells.

As for getting rid of the smell, you'll probably need combination of airing for a long time, carpet cleaning, and most probably cleaning the kitchen hob ventilator.

I have heard that coffee grounds work.... We used it to get the smell of oil out of our basement when we first bought our house.... It might work... Then vacuume?
