I got sick on the very first night of pesach. I have a terrible sore throat, and I'm sneezing, and coughing. (Hope I don't pop a rib!) And absolutely no voice! I wonder how many people I offended in the street when they didn't think I responded to wishing me a good yom tov. It was pitiful.

take sudafed, and also tea with lemon, or hot water with honey, ginger and lemon, is brill for sore throats |
I've been taking sudafed, but it makes me jittery and it is hard to sleep. The tea was wonderful but I burned my tongue. I just can't win 
On the bright side, I usually take tylenol with sudafed, but since my throat felt irritated, I took advil, which is an anti-inflamitory and it was very good! |
leave it to stand a little bit before you drink it so it is not scorching hot, that's what I do with hot drinks, the tea does make it a little better, you have to have warm drinks throughout the day, nothing cold. wish you better

Wow! There must be a few things going around. I'm hearing all over that people are sick. Most commonly flu-like symptoms, allergies, and bacterial infections. Hope you all get well quick! What a way to "enjoy" the holiday  .

| I know, Crazy! I just spoke to a friend and her entire family is sick with Strep. I guess I'm not the only one but it still feels so lonely. Is imamother contagious?

| Oh no. I didn't use antibacterial before typing, and submitting a post on imamother! I'm spreading germs like wildfire!

Hope the stomach flu has passed!
I was merely minutes away from posting how excited I am to have my voice back, and beginning to feel much better when I went ahead, and busted my lip, and gums First I couldn't speak, then I sounded like a frog, now I sound like Sylvester Stallone!
