My search for an affordable wig.

Hi everyone I wanted to share my experience with you about finding the right wig for an amazing price.
This really helped me & I hope it helps anyone who can't afford a $3,000 wig.
I had my share of buying the wrong wigs... Not the right color, length or cut.
Spend thousands of dollars on wigs that weren't right. Either got pressured by sheital maker or got it because it was on sale.
Here I was drooling over the $3-4 thousand dollar wigs online looking at the pictures dreaming of owning one.
I really needed a new wig but couldn't afford what I wanted. (A long straight dark one). Parnasa wasn't great & I felt bad spending too much on a wig.
After looking everywhere I felt like I'm never gonna get a new wig all were out of my budget.
Than I stumbled upon a website with stunning wigs for very cheap. Seemed to good to be true!! (Hashem heard my prayers!!)
The website had exactly what I wanted in my budget.
This lady had an eBay store & an email address for contact.
I wrote her an email of exactly what I wanted, not knowing what to expect.
She replied, was very friendly & sweet, she send me pics & even videos of the wigs.
I was really scared to order from her, but she was sooo nice, helpful & patient with me answering my hundred questions. We had over 80 emails back & forth.
She told me if I don't like it I have 15 days to return it!! She said I can wash it style it l, curl it but don't cut it. I can do all that to the wig & if I don't like it I can send it back for a refund. Which wig Salon you know does that?!?!
After I got the wig I was AMAZED At the quality & texture. I was in shaital heaven!
I showed it to a few wig salons & they were Amazed at the quality & couldn't believe that I got such a great deal.
So far I have the wig for about 2 months, I washed it about 4x, styled it, curl it blow dried it & it's still silky, soft, & shiny!
Can't wait to get another one from her.

who cut the sheitel for you?

did you have to add hair or did it have the right amount?

I also bought a sheitel from linda who owns europeansheitels abought 2 months ago and am extemely happy with it. I had bought a sheitel about 3 years before for $700 from a well known brand and always hated it--it never layed on my head naturally and the hair was gross after a very short time. It was definetly time to get a new one, I didn't have a big budget so I thought that I was going to be forced to buy the same brand again. Out of desperation I looked on line, and I found this site that said it sold quality sheitels for cheap with a 15 day return policy. I was nervous to buy one, but I decided it was worth the risk--only $450. When I got the sheitel in the mail, I could not believe the deal I got, it was really beautiful and it layed natually on my head. The lady that owns the site said the hair is semi processed but the hair is MUCH nicer than my old $700 one. Supposedly they are getting new sheitels soon with hair that is even better quality hair (from a company called Achad or Echad-I forget). Mine is long and dark, but they have all different styles. I was also told by the person who cut my sheiltel that they could believe the deal I got. I can't tell you how its going to last long term since I haven't had it for so long, but it is definetly A LOT nicer than my old one ever was.
If you live in Boca or NMB, I will be happy for you to look at it. I want everyone to get as good of a deal.

I am not in the market for a sheitel but I clicked on the website just out of curiosity. It is a messy, unprofessional-looking site, which may not mean anything to some people but it totally turned me off and I don't know that I would want to buy something from someone that had a website that looked like that. Seriously, can't she make the site look normal? It's not that difficult. It looks like an illiterate teenager put it together....not trying to be mean but in this day and age, there's really no excuse for someone in business not to make an effort to appear professional and put-together...

ETA: Okay, I see about halfway down the page she says, "I also have a fancy-looking website" with a link to it. The other one seems okay, but then what is the point of this messy page that the link in the OP's post takes you too?

I watched her youtube videos and her sheitels look AMAZING but she seems a bit nutty... I doubt she'll stand behind her product. But at this price.... There is no way I can afford anything that (seems) this gorgeous at a sheitel macher. How was your experience dealing with her?

She definitely is a character (it seems like she does it for a hobby- it looks like she is not jewish but randomly found out about sheitels after having bad experiences with wigs). To me it was worth the risk since the sheitels looked really nice from the youtube videos even if the site was not professional, since they were extremely cheap. She was helpful, but I didn't need to return anything, so I can't tell you about that- though it didn't seem like she would have given me a problem. Compared to my experience buying my first sheitel with a well-know sheitel macher who sold me a horrible sheitel that was WAY to big, my experience was MUCH better. I would definitively buy a sheitel from her again- I feel bad for everyone who doesn't know about her site and spends tons of money on their sheitels.

I believe she is located in Jupited, FL- I actually am thinking about seeing if I can go to her house next time I want to get a new sheitel since I live not that far away. You can get her email from the site and ask for her number (though I just emailed her). Again, don't judge the quality of her sheitels by her site.

I know someone who purchased a shaitel from her on ebay and I saw the shaitel myself. It was gorgeous! She paid about $350 plus cutting. She now has a gorgeous shaitel for about $600. I'm definitely considering one. Just waiting to see how long they last.

I've seen the tags on a few of her videos and the tag is in hebrew - so I'm guessing EY. Smile

does anyone know about the color of the wigs? are they all brown? or does she have red as well? it seems like great hair with a cheap cap, though.

she has all different colors and is always getting new styles in- I don't remember seeing a red one, but on her site or on one of her youtube videos I remeber her saying that she can order you a custom one (and I am sure it is still pretty cheap). I bought mine for $450 but you can definetely get it cheaper if you are willing to wait until a sheitel you want goes up for bid (I was desperate and I needed an extra small and brown, so I didn't want to wait). It says somewhere on her site that she was getting new sheitels with top-quality virgin hair from a company called Echad (you can do research if you want). Also, my sheitel looked just like it did in her youtube video.

Justt received mine today and I must say it's gorgous baby soft thin hair. The color is perfect for me as well as the size! I think it's better than my shevy! It's a great deal!!!!!
