Do you buy new pacifiers for pesach?

I did also. I put mine in the dishwasher with chametz dishes so I thought id need new ones for sure.

I always did, then spoke to my Rav at the time and he said that since the baby was only formula fed just pour boiling water over it and it should be fine. (I think I did it one year because my baby would only take one specific paci and we were away for pesach and went to 4 stores and they didn't have it.) then again, it is a great time to wean your child off the paci...... which I think I might do this year, although she only takes it at nap time and bed time.

I haven't yet, but I will (DD is 2 and half).
If I had a baby who was EXCLUSIVELY breast feeding I probably wouldn't.

I asked a shayla about my son's sippy cup. His formula in it isn't chometz and it gets washed in the bathroom sink. I was told that I didn't have to get him new cups for Pesach but if I wanted to it was okay.

We did, because it felt better to me, not because we had to.

I always try to time things so that I can replace tooth brush heads, and pacifiers before pesach, they have to be replaced sometime, so I try to make sure that time coincides with pesach.

I never actually asked this shailah, but I always did, even for a completely breast feeding baby for a different reason. The paci in our house is all over the place. I put it on kitchen counters, Shabbos tables, it falls on the floor, gets thrown into the sink full of dishes when it needs to be washed, etc. So I just felt that even if the baby's mouth wasn't actually "chometzdik", the paci certainly has been to many a chometzdik place. I don't want to have to make sure all Pesach that it never gets put down on my counter or tossed into my Pesachdik sink.

I'm actually usually pretty non-neurotic about Pesach, but things that actually go into people's mouth or get put on the table with food make me nervous!
