| |
If I made challos for MM today (Wednesday), how should I store them if I'm giving them out on Purim - Friday (I'm in Yerushalayim)?
I've only ever made challos fresh on Thurs eve/Fri or frozen them for weeks.
TIA!

Freeze them!
Wrap in foil and then in a ziploc bag (if available) or just a shopping bag with NO HOLES - can't be exposed to the freezer air or gets freezer burnt...
(also make sure they are completely cool before wrapping or the steam makes them soggy)

I agree, bag and freeze them. They should defrost quickly on Purim morning. _________________ Liba, mommy to Zlata Tova 5/6/98, Tziporah Faiga 1/12/01, Esther Rivka 7/13/04 and Avraham Chaim 7/2/2006
