I got another email, this time from Hatzalah:
EMERGENCY:
We were just notified that Hatzalah's emergency lines are down.
If you have a medical emergency you must call 718-998-8775

| Why don't they just use the automatic transfer option to transfer the phone number automatically to another number?

Here's another bright idea, if someone c'v can't get through to Hatzolah, their 'spare number' is 911.

EMS response time in ny was the reason hatzolah started.
