I recently made a meatloaf and it's wayy too salty. Any ideas of what I can do with it? I really don't want to have to throw it out, but we cannot eat it the way it is.

Chop it, mix with tomato sauce and pasta.
Is it too salty to serve in a sandwich whit lettuce and tomatoes.

Regarding the meat sauce idea: Regular tomato sauce contains a lot of salt, maybe use a low or no sodium variety. _________________

| My husband did that yesterday with a meatloaf no one wanted. He did not use jar sauce. It was really good.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I was thinking of using a low sodium sauce, but I think adding a potato may help...
Squishy- what did your DH add if it wasn't jar sauce? A can of tomatoes? Do you have a recipe?

| I second the low-sodium variety tomato sauce and adding the potato. Potato absorbs excess salt.
