I have felafel mix to make for supper tonight, anybody every bake them? besides the unhealthy part, im not in the mood of standing over the oven...

I have. I think it's fine and my kids do eat it like that, but they do like it better fried.

Baked tastes great in the falafel itself.
But on it's own without the falafel trappings, it doesn't have that 'once you pop you can't stop eating them'. Nobody really touches them plan.

I never bother frying felafel. It tastes yummy baked and noone needs the extra oil.
But yes, like ra_mom said, it isn't going to be exactly the same.

Growing up we always fried them now I always bake them of course they taste better fried but they are still good baked. It saves time is healthier and once you put it in a pita with all the sides you can hardly tell!

thanks! yaa I bought pita, chummus, well have french freis and isreali salad..hope noone notices!!
