I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Hershey's perfectly chocolate chocolate cake!

1 ¾ cups flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup non-dairy creamer, milk or water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350.  Grease and flour the pan of your choice.
Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl, stirring until well blended.
Add milk, oil, vanilla, and eggs; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer for 2 minutes, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl.
Fold in boiling water with a spoon or rubber spatula.
Bake for 25 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

*****
ONE-PAN CAKE: Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Heat oven to 350° F. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool completely. Frost.

THREE LAYER CAKE: Grease and flour three 8-inch round baking pans. Heat oven to 350°F. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Frost.

BUNDT CAKE: Grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan. Heat oven to 350°F. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Frost.

CUPCAKES: Line muffin cups (2-1/2 inches in diameter) with paper bake cups. Heat oven to 350°F. Fill cups 2/3 full with batter. Bake 22 to 25 minutes. Cool completely. Frost. About 30 cupcakes.

Also-- amaretto cake is always a hit whenever we make it!

¾ c. oil
¾ c. orange juice
1 pack of Osem instant vanilla pudding mix (80g)
¼ c. vodka
¼ c. amaretto
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Glaze
1 ½ c. icing sugar
2 tsp water
1 tsp vodka

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat eggs and sugar together. Add oil, OJ, and pudding mix and mix together. Add vodka and amaretto and mix.
Combine flour and baking powder and add—mix slowly, then beat.
Pour into greased 9X13 inch pan and bake for 1 hour.
When cold, spread glaze over top.
