| If the name on the US Passport was changed to an English name, but Israeli passport still has original Hebrew name-that wasn't changed, Will it be a problem when flying to Israel if born there? obviously both passports will be taken- US passport when leaving the US and Israeli when arriving there. Is that ok? it's hard to get through to the consulate to ask.

Noops! That's only in Israel. I travel with my Belgian passport, and no problem at all!
But maybe the Israeli's need a visa to enter the US, then, she'll need her American pass.

You will have to leave/enter the US with a US passport. When you check in with the airlines to leave Israel and show them your Israeli passport they will ask if you have another passport, because they cannot let you board without proof that the US will let you in, and if you only have an Israeli passport you need a visa.
If you have different names on the passports you may well have problems. Furthermore, the name on the ticket has to match the name on the passport.
Try checking the consulate's website for info on how to change the name on your passport. It may not be that difficult.

| Here in Belgium we can't change names,I just changed my American one because they made problems when I traveled with my kids alone and we had different names. I used to take a copy of my marriage license with me, but now I changed, its easier. So now my two passports have two different names and I never had a problem since, Bh.
