Are we listing all the schools or by location only?
My sister just moved to Buenos Aires and said that there are 4 bais yaakovs, not just 1. And are you sure that there is 1 in Uruguay? She was looking into moving there and I think one of the issues was that there's no BY.

Good question. I think we can do:
Buenos Aires (4) or something

The Uruguay one was listed on a BY site. But maybe it's new, or on contrary closed?

But okay, I'll play along. There's 3 in chicago (used to live there), 1 in Skokie, 1 in Milwaukee, 1 in South Bend, 1 in Des Moines IL. That's what I know of in out-of-the-way locations.

You want out of the way locations? I have 2 daughters in BY's - Esther Miller Bais Yaakov (St. Louis) and Beth Jacob of Denver. I can add to that Houston, Dallas, Atlanta...

Thanks! I always wondered how many BY existed.

Chicago has one BY elementary and 2 BY high schools. Since when does Houston have BY?

I IM'ed a friend in Houston. She said they started a BY in Houston but she's not sure it has survived (she has young kids and isn't so much involved in that part of the community).
