Can anyone tell me if R' Yehoshua Karlinsky, from givat shaul, israel-- if he's legit?
He removes ayin hara. Is it okay to do so? Just want to make sure he's not from the other side...
If you have gone or know about him- please tell me about him.

What's the "other side"? |
I heard a Rabbi speak once about being careful going to mekubalim and such and to be careful not to go if they are from the other side-sitra achra - not to go to those that use black magic, dark powers and evil to help someone.

Is ayin hara real? Is there a real mesorah for this, or is it just superstition? When did it become part of our religion?

| I know him personally, and he is a genuine talmid chacham and ehrliche yid. I didn't know that he removes ayin hara, but if he says that he does I would trust him to be legit.
