I saw advertised a while back – maybe in Binah magazine? – disposable challah covers (like to use for a simcha, etc.). I remember they came in blue and maybe white/silver? Does anyone know where these can be obtained?

Thanks

If you need challah covers for a simcha you get them from a gemach.

I know I saw these advertised...is it weird to call the Binah office and ask them?

I guess I need online or in Baltimore (or somewhere that would ship). Do you know how much they are? They are napkin material, right? So not too expensive?

No idea how much they are. Didn't notice. You can call the NPGS on James Street in Lakewood and see what the price is and whether they would be willing to ship .

Nothing wrong with calling them.

These are called "napkins," but look like they'd work:

Tova, A-Z has those napkins in that Blums link.

I dn't think that's what you meant, but that could work.

Thanks Barbara for the link because I like that site.
I guess I'll try to see those napkins in person - they are beautiful but I imagine square shaped while I am looking for more of a rectangular, challah cover look. They may work, though. T&P - thanks for telling me about A-Z. I may call and see if they have the disposable challah covers. momof6 - I don't see it on ohnut's site but I guess I can call.

Or I can go back to the drawing board - I am feeling too lazy to spend a lot of time on finding materials.

Saw them today for the first time in the supermarket. If you know someone coming from Baltimore to here, I don't mind buying them for you and sending them. My family comes in all the time so I don't think it should be a problem finding someone.

That's very sweet, gryp. Thanks for the offer but it's OK. I'm not gonna expend (or have someone expend) too much hishtadlus on this. I just thought it was cute to have my MM presentation be two challahs and a bottle of grape juice on a rectangle plastic tray covered with the cover (taped in the corners to stay put. I'll figure something out.
