We thought an ancestor's name was "Yechezkel". We just looked at the matzeyvah and it is not spelt the way we thought it would be so maybe it is a variation - it looks like "Chetzkel" - Ches tzaddi kuf alef lammed - is this a variation or a different name altogether? I don't think it would be a mistake because we saw pics of his offspring - also bas or b'r chetzkel - ideas? _________________ FORUM! FRUM WITH AN O.

| Chatzkel is a nickname for yechezkel, I have never heard it used as a stand alone name.
