I wanna "adobt" an English name-
I am in my twenties- I want something classy, adultlike, yet still fun
ideas anyone?

The Italian or Latin version is Beatrice. Bea is the nickname. Beata or beato literally means blessing in Latin.

I know a Bracha whose legal name is Beth. Technically it is short for Elizabeth, but who cares?

I wouldn't say that Barbara is any more in style that Bernice nowadays...

but if you want to keep the B, how about

or you could just call yourself Bee - lots of people with that initial use it as a nickname.

my hebew name is Brocha and I go by my english name.... Brooke. the logic when I was named was that since the biggest Brocha is water, and you cant live with out it, Brooke is a good translation. Just beware - People are likely to call you Brookie!

Beatrice has Christian origins. The Italian (Jewish) version is Benedetta

so many good ideas! I love Bee- but it may be a bit too casual not sure- Brooke is cool cuz it goes well with brocha- its basically alike
