it finally occurred to me, the answer to why the rebbe didn't appoint someone to be the new rebbe after his demise.
IMHO he knew just how unfathomaveably painful it would be to us as time passed along, and the rebbe would be gone with no new rebbe. it would become more and more necessary for mosheah now!

thanks for posting.The Rebbe was and is a true gift to the Jewish People. The video was very inspiring.
