this cake is delicious and moist and the best thing is everything goes into the mixer at once..
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup almaretto (can be purchased in any liquor store)
2/3 cup oil
3/4 cup orange juice
put all ingredients in mixer,
bake at 350 for 1 hour
enjoy

It's almond flavored, and in a lot of cases it's artificial amaretto flavor. Besides I don't see why amaretto liqour would be a problem...

I also LOVE the recipe you posted. I make it all the time!!! IT's called amaretto cake or HArvey Wallbanger cake ( not sure why).
There's a glaze u can make to drizzle over it:
1 Cup confectionary sugar
1 Tbsp. orange juice
1 Tbsp. vodka
1 tsp. amaretto
I make the glaze if I make the cake in a bundt pan so taht it looks fancy!!

Koolmother - what is the recommended size/kind baking pan for this?
Also, when you write vodka, what precisely do you mean? The strong 120 proof that the derelicts in the street drink?
Please advise; thanks.

| I make this cake every week for shabbos and it is a HIT!!! I use frangelica instead of the nutty liquer or you can use kahlua but thats not really kosher anymore, I think... I highly recommend this cake

This is the bestest, simplest, greatest cake! But you forgot the BEST! part:
The glaze:
~1 cup confectioner's sugar
~2 Tbsp. hot water or orange juice (I usually do 1 TBSP of each. I find
you need the hot wate rto help melt the confec. sugar.)
~Drop Amaretto
~Drop Vodka
Mix all ing. together. Pour and spread over cooled cake _________________ "Too much of life's party causes eternal indigestion."

I let my bundt cakes in general cool in the pan for like 10 minutes or so and then invert them onto a dish. Just grease the pan well
