ISO Wedding gown help...

I am looking for a gown for my bil's wedding. Where to find tznius gowns? I live oot and won't have a chance to go to ny before the wedding. I don't like the t-shirt under look on a gown... Has anyone used aformalchoice.com and made it tznius through them? If yes how did it turn out? Were they easy to deal with? Any other ideas?? TIA

Do you have the budget for a custom dress? That might be the easiest, if you can afford it. If you don't like the the look of a shell under a dress, what about wearing a shrug/jacket/cardigan over something? That can look much more put together. Would a suit be inappropriate? While it can be hard to find a suit with a long enough skirt, they do tend to be long sleeved, at least.

Dinner suit? That's a Chanel-ish suit with evening styling. Meaning, fancy it up. Meaning, satin blouse underneath, metallic trim, metallic or rhinestone buttons, black stockings, black matte shoes.

Or you could get a non-tznius gown mail order, and wear a beaded jacket over it and not take it off, with a chiffon scarf filling in the neckline.

I bought a gown at David's Bridal and altered it to be tznius.
