I would usually bake one of his favorite foods...
Do you want specifically something bought? Something like cuff links? Does he have a hobby that you can base a gift off of?

I got my husband a pair of very comfortable slippers. They weren't super-cheap but not a huge extravagance either. He LOVES them!

I would bake something he really likes, make his favorite supper, etc..
Or, you can get s/t special for yom tov for him like a new tie.
Good luck deciding.

Unless there's something specific that I know he's been wanting, I usually go with a special meal. We don't really have the money to spend on gifting, so when I say he's been wanting something I mean something ordinary enough but it's just more touching if I get it for him - like one above poster mentioned slippers - it's something you need anyway but it's different if you buy it and check it off your list or if someone picks it out for you because they're thinking of you.

yeh some men like chocolate but the men that I know (ie brorhers/Dad) like something with lots of toffee nuts and crunch in it. And for some reason they like them miniature, so maybe like a bag of nutty chews?
