I have 2 shoe questions:
1) around pesach time there was an add in one of the jewish magazines for a slipper that costs $100 but they justified it because it's comfortable, it breathes, etc.
what slipper is it?
what store can I buy it from?
2) my other questions is that I work all day and I find that I'm on my feet a lot more than I use to be and my no-name brand shoes (usually from payless) are just not cutting it. what brand should I buy? I would like to stay somewhat stylish if possible. If the shoe is comfortable and supportive I'm willing to spend the money for my heath and comfort.

I'm on my feet all day as well. besides from daily running/exercise, I walk 2 miles a day just inside my work building.
I have to say that after 4 years and numerous brands of shoes, the only ones that were ever 100% comfortable were sneakers or crocs. even naturalizer shoes tended to bother me at times.
crocs makes shoes that actually look like shoes and not rubber clogs. sure they are croslite material so they're not the most breathable, but I bought for this season a pair of leopard print flats as well as a black wedge heel from them. and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worked in besides for my black slip on skechers sneakers.

I don't think you need to spend $100 to be comfortable. There are many middle of the line prices that work well.
I love my Privo Malt slippers, but they're not made anymore. I'm afraid to try anything else, but I don't think spending over $30-$40 is necessary unless you have specific needs.
You can look into the Privo line, but some I found were less comfortable than others for my feet (depending on the arch of the shoe)...I had for the past year a pair of black ones (Rumor maybe?) that really felt like sneakers and I didn't necessarily kick them off the minute I walked in the door. _________________ http://a-natural-birth.com

so the $100 slippers, I dont necessarily want to get them I at least want to see what the hype is around them.
I am one the few weird people in the world who hates crocs, for some reason I dont find them comfortable at all.
also for my shoes that I need all day, I have a professional job so they need to be actual shoes, some people wear heals at my job and I dont understand how they do it
