dough:
2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1 Tbl vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
4 oz. margerine-soft
2/3 c whipped topping-thawed
combine and mix all dough ingredients till smooth. roll into 8x10. (I roll it longer) smear 1 Tbl oil on dough. combine 1/2 c brown sugar with 1/2 tsp cinnamon. spread over dough. roll dough jelly roll style. (dough might be soft, so spray or use flour under to prevent sticking) cover, fridge till firm, at least an hour (or more).
apples:
5 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c sugar
toss apples with ingredients and place into 9"deep pie plate. bake 45 minutes on 350.
slice dough into 1" slices and place slices flat on top apples. brush with egg. bake 40 minutes more. (sometimes it needs longer) serve warm with ice cream on the side.
enjoy. its yum. if u have questions u can pm me |
I have made this recipe several time and it delicious but after I make the dough it is way to sticky to roll out. Has anyone had this problem with this recipe & what have you done?

Just wanna say THANK YOU for this recipe. I finally made it this weekend and it was a big hit! I also am using it for our school Taste-a-thon. _________________ If you're gonna be blue, be bright blue!
