Tragedy has struck the Monsey community, when a man was electrocuted by live wires from the hurricane.
According to initial reports, Hatzolah was dispatched to Merrick and Union for live wires which fell down from the strong winds – and struck a child. An adult attempted to get him out safely, and was electrocuted as well.
Hatzolah paramedics transported the victims to Westchester Medical Center. One victim has R”L been pronounced dead. The child is reportedly in critical condition. Please be Mispallel for Chaim Reuven Dovid ben Chava Leah.

He should have a refuah sheleima bekarov!
I know is too late now... but just saying this as PSA: when has v shalom removing a live wire from a person a wood pole is the safest thing to use as is non conductive.

| Please, I'm going crazy...does anyone know the status of the little boy? He is my sons' rebbe's son and I have been in a total fog since I heard a few hours ago, crying and saying tehillim but I just want to know if anyone knows what's going on? Please, anyone?

I was wondering this too though I don't know the family....keep davening for him and keep in mind no news means he is still here ! he should have a complete Refuah sheleima!

| Thanks for the hugs....last we heard was yesterday, it seems his condition at the time was still critical, but stable....my son and some of his friends got together after minyan this morning to say tehillim together. I hope the same thing, that no news is good news...if anyone else knows anything please share!

I heard from a mekuval that if others (DS ,DH) learn mishnayos or his BM parsha for him that is a HUGE sechut and keeps the malach of death away.
Source :When David learned Torah the malach of death could not take him.

| My younger sister is best friends with the sweet little boy's older sister. She told me yesterday that they removed one arm. Keep davening. I think he's still critical.

| Baruch Dayan HaEmes. The boy passed away on Friday at four o'clock. The levaya was yesterday, Sunday.
