See the other wig thread. Synthetic wigs are interesting. Here is one link:

http://www.aliexpress.com/fm-s.....order.html

You need a Paypal account to buy. That is easy to set up.

Here is another:

They don't use Paypal any more; you just use a credit card. Comes in about 2 weeks.

Dolly, JAP wigs acc to my knowledge are not synthetics and IMO posting links that don't have enough to do with the subject is like spam.

OP, there were some threads abt JAP wigs a while back - maybe you can PM the posters who were really happy or unhappy. The prices look amazing Smile

I find tichels to be more comfortable than sheitels. Oh wait, that has nothing to do with JAP wigs, my bad.

OP, I've heard generally positive things about Jap wigs. But the front of a band fall can come either with the fabric strip across or with hair sewn over it, often for a bit extra money.

I have a jap wig for 3 years now
I wear it as a pony sheital
I dont wear it every day
it wears well and looks nice
it's held up pretty well

I have another one that I only use intermittently on shabbos
that one has not held up as well
the rows of hair are falling out (that may also be bec. I had the cap taken in- maybe the lady didn't resew it well)
other than that it looks nice

the only thing is check it for nits before you wear it.
I didn't know sheitals can come w/ nits and them (my others didnt have) the two I bought from jap were disgusting!

I have a JAP wig for one and half years. I wear it daily so by now its quite worn. I find them to be quite lanky and they don't have much body. Great for a cheaper shaitel and for pony shaitels.

I have a Jap for 2 years now, wear in summer as pony. Its excellent.

Im thinking of getting another one now, its long and very straight which is what Im looking for.
I dont know about a fall front. But the regular front, with bangs are very nice.

Totaly worth it!

hi! I have two JAPS and love them both they look so natural and noone believes me when I say im wearing a wig (I do pull out my hair in the front tho..)

the prices are so worth it and they have served as gorg wedding wigs as well as a day out with the kids wig - I hardly feel that its on my head - saying all that I have a friend that bought a wig on my rec and hated it - said it wasnt comfortable and knotted badly....I had two 2000dollar wigs that knotted the same amount as the JAP soooo yup I guess you should go check them out and see if you like the feelng of the hair (I did condtion them ALOT)

mine was comfortable but fell apart quickly (I wore it up to 10 hours a day, every day.) also, the hair oxidized very fast. I'm a blond, wore it mostly indoors and not in the summer, and it lost its color rather quickly. the hair was so processed that it didn't take well to dye. iirc, it lasted less than a year.

I have a Jap fall for 1.5 years now and I'm fairly happy with it. It did oxidize (I'm blond) but the color is not bad and doesn't bother me. I think once fall comes I will dye it though. The hair is good if you wash it regularly, I let my fall go unwashed for more than 2 months and it started looking synthetic, but when it's washed the hair is nice and silky. When I originally bought it, I told myself that if it lasts 2 years, I'll be happy. Looks like it'll last for even longer.

Buying wigs at these prices are a gamble. If all turns out well, you got a great deal. If it doesn't, then you're basically stuck because they won't back up their product and give you a new sheital. When I asked what their policy was on a lemon they told me that they'll try to fix it but they won't give me a new piece if nothing works.
