I guess with the 9 days coming, this might not be the best time to ask this question. But have you seen any good movies?

I find that months can go by and I don't see any movies. Then I for some reason start seeing lots of movies. Recently I've seen X-Men, Harry Potter, Bridesmaids and Monte Carlo.

I've been wondering if I should rent Adjustment Bureau. Anyone see that, or any other good movies?

I never heard of Brothers. Who's in it? What's it about?

Yesterday I saw Stupid, Crazy, Love. It was really good, rated PG13. Very funny, with underlying family stuff, some sadness, great acting. The humor was based on characters and situations, not slapstick.

Natalie Portman, tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Its about a father who's in the army, deployed to afganhistan where his helicopter gets shot down and his family are told he is dead. his brother who was just released from prison steps in to fill the void of a dead father....until.....
very very good.

Thanks for the recommendation for Brothers. I looked it up and it got great reviews. I'll have to try and get it. There are no more Blockbusters in my neighborhood! Maybe the library will have it. Thanks again for the tip.

My favorites are The Notebook, The Sting, The Sting 2, The Tudors (a series about Henry the 8th)... Just right off the bat for now.
