Deciding which playgroup to send ds to - any input?

I'm deciding between 2 playgroups for next year.
playgroup A: hrs 9-2, small space, provide lunch and snacks, nap time, 10 kids, 2 younger morahs, small outdoor play area, optional after-care until 3.
playgourp B: hrs 9-1:30, bigger space, provide lunch and snack, no nap time, 8 kids, 1 middle-aged morah, outdoor porch.
I work 4 hrs a day, flexible (anywhere from 9 to 10 until 1 to 2). I have to drop baby off at a babysitter right across the street from me and then walk ds to playgroup (both are about the same distance from my home). then, I head off to work. having to pick up ds at 130 will be much more stressful for me than having to be there by 2. is there any advantage to having ds nap at playgroup as oppsosed to not having him nap? he'll prob be coo-coo by the time we get home, and after I pick him up, I have to get baby from the babysitter before heading home?
any advice?

Do you like the morahs in both of them? That would be my biggest concern. If so, I would take the first. I think that having two morahs is much better (what happens if there's an emergency with one kid, and there's only one morah? Who takes care of the other kids? When the morah is changing a diaper, who is hands-on taking care of the other kids?).

As for the nap...the first week will be difficult. Maybe even two weeks. After that, kids usually adjust.

That extra half an hour is a big deal in terms of your sanity. Might be worth the craziness of a few weeks.

I agree with Always Grateful.

If you have the option of leaving him till three, you might want to once in awhile to get some things done by yourself or even stay home and drink a cup of coffee in quiet.

Does he nap now and if so, when?
