Colic / Spoiled Baby

she is 3.5 months old and has not been put down since she was born! she falls into a deep sleep while I am nursing her and then her eyes spring open as soon as I put her down and she starts screaming! I do wrap her occasionally when I am desperate, but when will she outgrow this phase? and what can I do to help her get there faster?

Mine's a month older than yours and I have the same problem. I don't think it's colic because she's fine and cheerful as long as someone's holding her. It started out looking like more of a comfort thing but now she looks downright insulted if she even thinks you're going to put her down. Nothing in the books helps. Sigh.

We have SLIGHTLY more success when DH puts her to sleep. If I'm around she keeps thinking she can nurse whenever she wants. Sometimes she just screams louder if I give her to him, but last night I gave her to him when she was calm, and he managed to put her to sleep and even put her down for a while. I HOPE this is the beginning of good things to come!!!
