Can I substitute Tofutti Sour Cream for Cream Cheese?

I want to make rugelach with a recipe that calls for cream cheese. Can I use toffuti sour cream instead?

I made rugelach using Tofuti as a substitute for cream cheese one time and it was definitely NOT as good as the real milchig ones.

I've made the real milchig ones a few times and they were spectacular! The real cream cheese has something that gives the dough that melt-in-your-mouth consistency.

Use tofutti cream cheese instead of real cream cheese. And tofutti sour cream instead of real sour cream.

You can use mayonaise instead of the fake sour cream.
