Please, if you have any suggestions please post them here. My ds left his last yeshiva due to extenuating circumstances that had nothing to do with him. He did nothing wrong and was a decent student. I can't discuss the circumstances or I happily would.

He needs a relatively small school where he can get the feeling that the rebbeim truly care about him. He was in a special school for elem for boys who had various issues - his in particular is anger (hence posting as amother). He does not get angry at school - it's an at home thing only - as far as I can tell - unless a boy pushes him too far. (I think that happened twice the first semseter this year and the mashgiach said he was justified).

He needs a school where at the least they will be sympathetic to chasidim - as he thinks this is the derech for him - he does have long peyos. He does not wear chasidishe levush at this time - and is waiting for the green light by a rav in our community.

He switched his nusach to nusach s'phard as that is how he grew up -(that's how our shul davens) although we daven ashkenaz and he just switched his tefillin - the sofer said to him when he came "what took you so long".

We live OOT - and are willing to send him whereever the right yeshiva would be. I'm expecting that yeshiva to be small and willing to work with him. I am desperate. He has been out of yeshiva for just over a month now and has nothing to do. The rav with whom we've been working is out of ideas. The dayan gave a suggestion and it didn't pan out. We are so stuck. He's in 9th grade and I'm afraid he'll have to repeat this year - and how are we ever going to get him into school next year if he misses the rest of this year? He's 15 yrs old, bli ayin hara.

Please, please, please - if you have any suggestions - please help.

I'm sure there is a school for him, you just need to find it. I've heard Waterbury is amazing though I don't know if there's anyone chassidish there. Honestly, the chassidish part would be less important to me than that it be a good place where they'll care about him and help him grow.

Hatzlacha and loads of nachas!

I think Norfolk caters to this type. The rebbeim are supposed to be amazing and it is a small yeshiva.
