How old is the baby? Are you nursing? Keeping her in bed with you?

OP,
Your line about your baby once being 'good' made me pause. Babies usually begin sleeping through the night (6-8 hour stretches) once their stomachs are large enough to keep them 'full' through the night (a newborn's tummy is super small and they need constant feedings). This can be anywhere between 3 and 6 months.

Did you also post the second comment that your baby is 6 months old and exclusively nursing? Around 6 months, your baby might be teething, and the pain is waking her up at night. Nursing might be soothing for her achy gums. Another thing coming into play might be that it's time to start solids. Nursing isn't filling 'enough' for babies past a certain point. If you are HUNGRY and you drink water, are you full? Around 4-6 months (with the American Academy of Pediatrics aiming for 6 months) it's time to introduce baby's first foods! Speak with your pediatrician and see what his/her opinions are about which foods to introduce first.

There are various reasons why babies this age might stop sleeping as well. She may be having a growth spurt, or may be teething. Try to nap if possible, and keep in mind that she'll probably sleep better after whatever is keeping her up passes.

I am having the same issue right now with my 6 month old. He will not sleep well.
We also have a hard time getting him to fall asleep and once he does finally fall asleep he wakes up like every hour Sad

What's a typical day like? A routine made things LOADS easier for us. And it's not just one size fits all. If it can't be sorted out here, there's always baby sleep coaches.

I do give him solids so I'm not sure what the issue is.
Also the only way he sleeps is if he is in my bed Sad

If you write down how your day goes, I'm sure we can help you....That's how my baby used to be. It's so hard being a new mom. For starters, just record when he woke up, ate, slept, etc. It could be he's not eating enough during the day, or sleeping too much, or lots of other things. I know I'm making it sound overly-simplistic and you're thinking how can this work, but I'm telling you--with my first it was a nightmare. By the second, B"H we didn't want to repeat the same mistakes and torture so we got smart. I don't know if routines work for everybody, and you have to be ready to change your life a bit, but it's soooo worth it. There's no reason that you need to function on 3 hours sleep with 2 feeds in there!

at this age the baby starts teething so that could be the problem. it's hard not sleeep at night, the only advice I can give is to rest when the baby is sleeeping during the day.

My baby is the same age so I know how you feel. Hug Babies go through a growth spurt at 6 months and eat more. Give it 2 weeks and see if it gets better. Meanwhile, try hiring a babysitter in the afternoons so you can nap. It's the only way I keep my sanity.

I went through the same thing with my 4 month old, after mastering sleeping through the night, she decided to start from scratch, waking up literally every 2 hours. I of course assumed she was hungry until she was up crying again an hour later..took her to the DR assumed ear infection, or congestion, or teething, I tried giving her food, nothing, nada not interested.
Dr said she isnt hungry in the middle of the night, I taught her to need to wake up to eat, its habit. he said now is the time to put her in her own room and let her cry (eek im sorry!)
within 2 days!!! our lives were back on track. NO COMPARISON. For a couple night she woke up in the middle, dr told me not to give calories at night, I just went into gave her paci, patted her belly, relaxed her a bit..and wow what a difference!!
