Florida - North Miami Beach

DH would love to move to Florida and until now I have told him that there is no way that I am moving out of the tri-state area but I now am willing to look into it.

What are the schools/shuls like? We are looking for a single s-x school that is not overly yeshivish. A shul that is warm and has a lot of young families with kids. (FTR - we have 2 kids and our oldest is 3).

How is the housing situation? We would want to ideally live within a few blocks from the shul we would go to? Are the houses near the shuls (or shul that would be best for us) affordable, small, etc?

I live in North Miami Beach and I love it! We're Lubavitch and our kids go to the Lubavitch school. But there are a few different options for shuls and schools, you're sure to find one for you!

I highly recommend coming for Shabbos and a few days to get a feel for the community.
