fri night- soup, chicken and veg, rice
shabbos day- fish (I usually just get 2 pieces from my mother down the street), chulent, small kugel
my husband loves it since we get to go to sleep early fri night with a short meal and a few times on shabbos day well take a nap 1st then eat....we dont do it often since we usually have guests or eat out but when we do its nice

| I cook basically the same things with guests or without. I don't go overboard with guests. I really try to cook my kids' favorite foods. so it depends what they're into, and that's always changing.
