Does anyone have a cold fruit soup recipe?
I would really appreciate one.
The heat index here has been around 100 F with no end in sight.

a milchig one?
put a pack frozen strawberries with a small sour cream and the sauce of a can peaches in the milchig processor or blender or mix by hand. dice the peaches in. add a little vanill yogurt if it's too sour. enjoy. _________________ http://www.autism-parenting.com

You can put strawberries (fresh or frozen), some bananas, canned fruits (peaches, pineapple), and a package of jello (not diet jello) in a blender, that's it! Tastes great. Make sure the bananas are ready. _________________ Dip the apple in the honey...

from the Heimishe Cookbook -- I don't have the recipe in front of me, but it's something like this:
a can of cherry pie filling, a can of peaches, a can of fruit coctail, some water (a cup or two?) adn sugar. heat to boiling and cook 5 minutes. then refrigerate. serve cold -- obviously!
I've made this, even substituted items...so easy and yummy!! _________________ "G-d's gifts to you are your talents...How you use them is your gift to G-d."

I just made on Friday 6 quarts of Strawberry soup- it's delicious!!!
dice a container of strawberries, then put in food processor- to liquify.
add a cup of sugar (or less, depending on how sweet you want it)
cup of orange juice....
and that's it!
lasts in fridge for 3 days or can freeze....
depending on how thick you like your soup- thicker----- add more strawberries, less OJ.
If you prefer thinner soup- you could even serve it as a strawberry drink for shali'shudis.
